Neo-Nazi Caleb Dane Rose outed as Patriot Front member Victor – IN living in Crawfordsville, Ind

Who is Patriot Front?
Patriot Front was founded in the aftermath of 2017’s deadly “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. The fascist who drove his car into the crowd, killing Heather Heyer and injuring dozens of others, marched at the rally with Thomas Rousseau of Vanguard America, a neo-Nazi group. For more information on James Alex Fields, click here. Soon after, Rousseau formed Patriot Front as a splinter of Vanguard America. The then-teenaged founder, Rousseau, seized membership and assets of an earlier white power organization, Vanguard America, and rebranded his group as Patriot Front.

While the organization uses red, white, and blue patriotic imagery, Patriot Front is unambiguously white nationalist, stating that “Nationhood cannot be bestowed upon those who are not of the founding [white] stock of our people.” The organization is also fascist, an early text was titled “American Fascist Manifesto”, and involves neo-Nazis within its ranks. Since 2017, Patriot Front has also held “flash mob” events, where they are easily spotted in their uniform of khaki pants, polo shirts, ball caps, and white gaiter masks, and carrying American flags, smoke bombs or other props. At these events, their uniformed members will unload from the back of a rented U-Haul or Penske box truck, then briefly march along their planned route through the city, usually at night when there are few bystanders. The purpose of these marches is to generate footage for a few minutes of flashy recruitment videos for their social media channels. As well as holding flash rallies featuring masked participants, Patriot Front regularly spreads propaganda in the form of stickers, banners, and stencil graffiti. Patriot Front goal is often intimidation, for example when it targets synagogues with propaganda for the racist group. Following 2020’s mass anti-racist protests and rebellion, Patriot Front has increasingly targeted Black Lives Matter and racial justice murals for defacement. Patriot Front does this both to threaten its perceived enemies and to build notoriety for the organization. Today, Patriot Front is one of the most active distributors of racist and antisemitic propaganda in the country, both online and via fliers, stickers, and banners. Per its manifesto, the group does not allow women to join and is actively working to create a whites-only ethnostate.

On January 21 2022, as Patriot Front was attempting to march at the anti-abortion protest in DC, independent media outlet Unicorn Riot released 500GB of Patriot Front’s unaltered internal communications. The leaks include “private, unedited videos and direct messages reveal a campaign to organize acts of racial hatred while indoctrinating teenagers into national socialism (Nazism).”

The January 2022 leaks of Patriot Front’s inner workings, white supremacist rhetoric, connections to the US military, and attempts to infiltrate mainstream conservative movements have been published widely in national media outlets.

As the articles linked above also explain, upon arriving in the Patriot Front server, members select a fake name which corresponds to their home state, obscuring their identities even to one another. Thanks to the leaks, leader Rousseau and Patriot Front members have been concretely connected to multiple interstate attacks on Black Lives Matter, gay pride, and other progressive examples of public art: defacing and otherwise removing the originals and covering them with their own messages of hate.

 

Caleb Dane Rose as Patriot Front Member Victor 2889 IN 
Caleb Dane Rose was known as Victor 2889 IN but Caleb has been known to antifascists for years thanks to his numerous memberships in white nationalist groups. In fact, his previous membership in National Socialist Club (NSC)-131 was one of the main reasons for his identification in Patriot Front. NSC-131 was recently in the news after the hate group attended a St. Patrick’s day parade in Boston and used one of the Dropkick Murphy’s songs in their propaganda afterwards. After some insults online, Dropkicks invited the neo-nazis to talk at the park a few days later and NSC did not attend out of fear. NSC neo-nazis have roots or are otherwise connected other white nationalist organizations including National Socialist Movement, The Base, League of the South, Traditionalist Worker Party, Aryan Strike Force and Patriot Front.

 

At a July 2020 Rogersville, TN, Black Lives Matter protest against police and honoring George Floyd, Caleb was one of nine NSC 131 aka NSC Dixie members arrested for violence against BLM protesters, per Rogersville local news. It was also noted in the Rogersville Review article that Caleb is a member of a second hate group, Legion of St. Ambrose. Article is archived here. Legion of St Ambrose aka Christ Gang was founded in 2019 by former members of white supremacist and anti-Semitic group Traditionalist Workers Party. It struggled to find relevance as a white nationalist “Christo-fascist” group that sought to recreate the country into a whites-only Christian ethnostate. In 2020, the hate group was rumored to have merged with NSC 131 and is no longer active. We compare that face to one of the dozens visible from Patriot Front’s recorded and maskless training session at their Virginia camp in December 2021, leaked and hosted by Unicorn Riot. We paused at :02
and zoomed in
and then compared facial construction, ear shape, hairline, shoulder width and comparative height. It’s a match!
We are overjoyed to confirm that Caleb Dane Rose, a known member of both National Socialist Club 131 Dixie chapter and Legion of St Ambrose, is also a member of Patriot Front Indiana Chapter.

Corroborating details that further establish Caleb Dane Rose as Patriot Front member Victor IN
Caleb, as Victor, posted frequently on the Patriot Front server, which was leaked in January and is hosted by Unicorn Riot. In his posts, he shared that he lives in Crawfordsville, Indiana and doesn’t have a car.

Caleb doesn’t have a car because he was arrested for a DUI. Per his arrest record, Caleb is now nearly 23 years old and 71″ or just shy of 6′ tall.

His DUI, as posted in the local media, further cements that Victor is Caleb Rose. The article is archived here. What’s interesting is that Caleb doesn’t have an address listed, nor his age.
Carless in Crawfordsville, Caleb walks around hanging up Patriot Front’s white nationalist propaganda:
He claims to work as a general laborer, presumably second shift, as he’s off work at 10:30pm, lives about 30 minutes from work, where he shares a home with his priest:
Further, he shares that  he had previously lived with fellow Patriot Front member Billy – IN and Billy’s family until recently when he chose to leave due to the increasingly hostile environment:
Per conversation in Patriot Front server DMs between members Marshall MA and Vincent TX aka Kyle Morelli (archives with pics here, here, and here, respectively) Caleb’s former roommate Billy IN is deeply involved in Traditionalist Workers Party (TWP from above) founder’s new white nationalist radio show:
Billy’s pretend name is George Eckhart. It looks like Marshall and Kyle heard right:

One has to wonder if Billy and Caleb were planning some sort of NSC/new TWP/National Bolshevik infiltration and takeover of Patriot Front to consolidate white nationalist groups.

Thanks to the leaked video footage, we know Caleb was in Virginia at the Patriot Front camp for the early December national event. Further, within the leaks are the Patriot Front-created media that they believed would be safe to send to one another through their server, but that doesn’t work when they’re infiltrated. Patriot Front marched through the National Mall and memorials, prompting immediate reactions on social media from conservatives who labeled Patriot Front as federal agents or other false operatives, ostensibly attempting to distance their own views from those of the white nationalists:

From the video below, we were able to isolate and identify Caleb Rose as he marched wearing brown work boots, thin-looking blue shirt without patches, brown belt, carrying standard US flag upside down, black gloves, towards the rear of the neo-nazi formation.  

 

His photo is archived here. After the march, as Patriot Front members tried to leave, things went poorly for them. “On the evening of December 4th, 2021, nearly 75 young fascists were left shivering outside Arlington National Cemetery, waiting hours for a box truck to come and haul them away. Journalists and members of the public reasonably inferred that Patriot Front’s ineptitude was the cause of their discomfort that evening, but with the public release of internal chat logs, we can now shed light on what happened that day.

 

“While members of Patriot Front strutted awkwardly along the National Mall in Washington D.C., antifascists were able to take advantage of their logistics chokepoints, thanks to intel provided by infiltrators inside the fascist organization. Their transportation troubles that day were not simply due to poor planning or wayward drivers: they were a direct result of coordinated strikes on rented trucks and personal vehicles by anonymous antifascists,” from the article “Antifascist Action Against Patriot Front: An Anonymous Reportback On December 4th, 2021” posted on It’s Going Down. Things went even worse for Caleb, leaked chats reveal him having a miscommunication about getting back to Crawfordsville plus poor planning, and revealing that the network directors have even less awareness of their membership than was previously known which all led to Caleb eventually being stranded somewhere in Ohio:
From that exchange, we are able to parse that for the December national event, Caleb travels there with Oklahoma crew including Clarke OK. In departing the Saturday event, Caleb was on the first [Uhaul truck] with three Patriot Front members from Indiana guys back to the damaged cars at the parking lot. Caleb reported that there was another Indiana Patriot Front member on the second UHaul and two Indiana PF guys on the third truck. After surveying the damage, the Indiana group arrived at camp, took their two tents, claiming to have stayed there for less than 3 minutes then were on the way home. It is unclear how exactly Caleb ended up stranded at an Ohio hotel. But fellow white nationalist Alan MI connected him with Michael IN and he arranged for Adam IN to pick up Caleb. A fitting final scramble to the chaotic, ineffective and overall failure of a Patriot Front event.

One quick note to the Patriot Front members reading this article, wondering if you’ll be next: make no mistake, you will be. We will find you and identify you. Do not waste your life and ruin your future for Thomas Rousseau’s distorted and racist vision. He can talk a big game but Thomas is responsible for the death of one member, harm to several others as well as mismanaging an entire organization. Thomas forces you buy his cheap stickers and expensive stencils, then orders you all to hang them up, all so he doesn’t have to pay rent. Don’t let him wreck your life too. Get out now.
